As for the whole storyline concerning Andy Bernard, although we all had some trouble with what he have been doing recently, but no one could help it but to enjoy B.J. Novak for Ed Helms at the beginning of the episode. The whole stint with being the drunk and fake janitor really worked for him to a big extent, starting from his very obvious fake accents, to transforming from a drunken janitor to a sober janitor and of course the fact that no one believed his story when he stated that Dunder Mifflin has been bought by David Wallace. It seems that at last, his storyline is working and it is actually grabbing attention and has become a part of an interesting and an entertaining plot line. But of course, nothing stays the same, as all of this entertainment and excitement ended once he returned to being the annoying character he is, Andy Bernard. For example, he was very annoying each time he would interrupt David as the new owner tries to tell him more about the predicament. Onto another storyline, we saw how busy Dwight was as he was trying to get a DNA sample from his baby, and he couldn’t care less of what the heck Andy was doing.

And the show has been given a couple of interesting episode lately. It is as if they are announcing that they are still alive and kicking and are looking to have an extension of the show for at least one more season.

One of Dwight‘s funnies moments was in the conference room when he started thinking up things he could use to hit Harry his arch enemy. He actually thought of using Jim’s leg! He did not seem to like the fact that Jim seemed to be too focused on his clients and decided to take matters into his own hands.

As for the new guy Andy, he does seem to be struggling to fit into the shoes that left the show. But it still seems unfair that he should be compared with Michael Scott and time might actually do the trick of making him come into his own. The show would have to be around for him to have enough time though to warm up to the show. But one person that quickly caught on in the show was Nellie. And in more ways than one she reminds fans of Michael. She can be funny and awkward and one of the most heart warming moments of the episode was when she had a moment with Pam and she discovered a friend in her.

Next week will be the season’s finale and how it will go is any body’s guess. But what this episode did was to set things up nicely for the writers. The actors are really performing so well, it would be a shame to watch a show stop dead in its tracks when things have been going sp well. Spader has been reported to be leaving the show but this could give more room for others to have a larger say in it. Here’s hoping for the best for ‘The Office’.

Dwight gives the Scranton branch workers free family portraits. Robert gets a great new opportunity. Andy poses as a janitor in his attempt to rejoin Dunder Mifflin.

She told the newspaper she couldn’t understand why ‘The Office’ fans were so intent on criticising the relationship.

Explaining the reason for confusion she said: “It’s not supposed to compare to Jim and Pam. It’s supposed to be a love story of oddballs. I think it’s unfair to say that the show can never have another romance. Look at Michael and Holly. It kind of confuses me because you can enjoy that storyline much more if you weren’t trying to compare it to someone else. Maybe there is a longing for a different kind of love story.”

Then she added: “The love between Jim and Pam was the big reason people got attached to the story in the beginning. It’s difficult because you can’t follow us home. To bring conflict into the office is kind of a big deal realistically.

“These are the characters who don’t air their dirty laundry. But there are conversations that could happen in the stairwell or in the car. Or break room.”

The actress also revealed that ‘The Office’ cast misses Steve Carrell.

Speaking about Carrell, who left the show last season, she told the paper: “What’s weird is when I catch a rerun on television and I get homesick for him. I miss his voice.”

In the start of the show, it was kind of cold, Ryan was being himself, always having secret reasons and agendas behind his actions, it is kind of what makes him the good actor and character he is. These reasons vary, whether it is his love towards the girl that he will probably cheat on, or the way he pretends to have great love for Smokey Robinson, all in all, he was just Ryan, Ryan the douche bag. Then we have a competition between two humorous things that occurred, Dwight‘s arrogance when he was bidding silently in the silent auction, as he was outbidding and overpricing his bids with thousands of dollars. Or was it his stupid celebration he was having after he knew that he has won everything.

Then we got to see how was Kevin treating Andy, he was trying to get an idea through to him, he wanted to tell him that losing his job was in fact a bad thing, and he should start to worry about it, but the way he was very obvious about it turned it form a serious matter into a humorous and a laughing matter. And of course, as the usual form The Office, Andy was the most disappointing part of the show. We only have 2 episodes left on this season of The Office, so everyone is wondering what the show will do with the character of Andy Bernard. This is due to the fact that his character is doomed, he is in that zone where a character reaches when it is in no way funny, humorous or interesting to watch, especially seeing him with all of his dogs, and the show should seriously think this through. It is so hard and depressing to watch this character.

So all in all, it was a decent episode, certainly not great, and defiantly not one of the best The Office episodes.

Another report that came out last week was that Greg Daniels the executive producer of the show was looking at having a reboot of the show that will comprise of some old and new members in the cast. But Fischer was talking in an interview when she spoke about the show’s future and she hoped that NBC will renew the show.

She said that she is just an actor in the show and does not really know how things would go but she knows that all her colleagues are interested in the show having another season. She said she meant every one of them i.e. including those who are being speculated to be on their way out. She went on to say everything lies in the hand of the network but she believes they will have to make a pronouncement by May 15 so they are adopting a wait and see position.

She said that Rainn was going to come back even now that he does have his show. She also said the Kaling maybe able to return for a few episodes in season 9 though she does not have their schedules at hand.

The writers did well to bring back that issue because his character had been in much need of a boost. Fans may not know if they will continue with this Andy but it really worked for this episode of the show. The old Andy would have allowed what happened in the conference room to pass without a second glance. But it was fun watching his angry version attack everything in sight and even revisiting the spot he had hit when going through his first anger management.

It may not have been exceptionally funny but it was far better than what fans had been getting from him lately. But Novak struck gold with his performance this night. He had been playing this character so well but always seemed under credited by fans. He however shone like a million stars in this episode.

Nate chose Navi over Ryan but the funny thing was that he had never met Navi before this was just to underscore how much he really did not like Ryan. He was visibly jealous that a woman he really did not like was still ‘stolen’. And Ryan did so much more this episode that really made him justify the large material he was given to work with.

Fans got to see Kevin in Andy’s sweater and this was funny. This episode was miles ahead of last week’s take even though it was still a bit far from some of the episodes that have come on in ‘The Office’.

A drunken Robert shutters a close by Dunder Mifflin branch, leading to Dwight and Jim teaming up to get their clients. Meanwhile, Andy plots his return to the Scranton branch.

Andy makes a huge mistake when he shows up at a fundraising auction for Robert Lipton. Nellie needs Darryl to show her how a taco is eaten.

Nellie Betram is played by Catherine Tate and her character is very opinionated. In this episode she was her typical self with her thoughts on everything always at the extreme point of things. It is a good thing that this is a comedy or she would be one of those characters that fans would love to hate. But as it is her character can be shocking and quite funny.

In this episode she was taking on her co-workers whose tolerance levels for her had gone below zero but Jim stood up for her. And the party that was organized for her -if it can be called that brought some of the funniest moments in the episode. Kevin comment about the cake having vegetables in it which some how was directed at him being fat and Ryan agreeing with Daryl comment about him even when he was the only one that did not seem to get what it really meant was funny.

While the party was on Andy and Erin were making there was back to the office from their trip to Florida. They then had to stop over at Southern Penn to accomplish the task of breaking up with Jessica. The Bachelorette party was another place with a couple of funny moments especially when everyone just believed Andy when he told them that he was gay.

Fans would still have different opinions on the Erin and Andy partnership. Whether they are suited as a couple or not is anybody’s guess and opinion. Those who do not agree with them being a couple may not find anything they do or say together funny; neither will they see the ‘chemistry’ in their relationship. But those who do would find all of these there. Erin belief that you can get tired by just looking at a turkey was hilarious.

Another funny moment involved Dwight like when the bandwagon of hate against Pam was carrying on and he just got involved being totally clueless as to what was actually going on. There was also the issue of him needing a tweeter account. It was an interesting episode and the show seems to be getting its feet.
