Jim Halpert (John Krasinski)
Jim is the salesman known to always engineer pranks on his rival salesman Dwight. Though he is shown as being capable for a higher position, Jim stays at Dunder Mifflin because of his secret passion for the receptionist Pam. Jim’s dry and smug manner makes him the straight man in the show, a foil for Michael and Dwight’s comic antics. He is easy going and loves plotting against Dwight, but his promotion as Co-Manager makes him show his more serious side.

Jim eventually began dating Pam, and moved in with her. Jim wanted to ask Pam to get married but he waited a while when Pam said she wanted to go to art school. Meanwhile, they accidentally found out that Pam was pregnant when he rushed her to the hospital after acquiring ankle injury in a volleyball game. They got married eventually.
Jim is played by the actor John Krasinski. John is an actor, film director and writer. He was born in Newton, Massachusetts. He appeared on the film License to Wed with Mandy Moore and Robin Williams, Leatherheads with George Clooney and Renee Zellweger and on the romantic comedy It’s Complicated with Meryl Streep and Steve Martin.
