Preview Of The Office: “The Promotion” Episode
This week seems to be a hostile one following Jim’s promotion to co-manager on the last episode of The Office. Dwight who is the unofficial assistant to the regional manager did not seem to take this quite lightly. He finally loses his patience with Halpert, so keeps an eye around for potential friends. Meanwhile on the next episode David Wallace makes a visit to Scranton to announce the unpleasant news that this time around not everyone will be getting a raise. Pam finally decides that she would rather like cash instead of wedding gifts after seeing the enthusiasm of people who are willing to drive to Niagara Falls for the wedding.

“The promotion” which is the name for tonight’s episode of The Office build up the mood for the most anticipated wedding in recent TV history, which is going to be a one hour special. All The Office crew will be travelling to Niagara Falls to attend the nuptial of Jim and Pam.
This week saw Michael trying desperately to get know what was discussed during the secret closed door meeting between Jim and David. He even goes to the extent of sneaking into the meeting in a cheese cart made by Andy (played by Ed Helms). But when the jig was up it was revealed by David that the meeting was held to discuss future prospect of the company after the closure of its Buffalo branch. So Michael trying to justify his act and save himself and rested the blame on Jim. But his plan back-fired and Jim was promoted to co-manager at Scranton.

Meanwhile Dwight and Toby started investigating to find out whether Darryl’s comp claim had any basis. In order to do so Toby shouted certain obscenities to Darryl’s sister.
On this episode Pam revealed that her choice for picking a far-off destination such as Niagara Falls was intentional so as to discourage people from The Office to attend their wedding. But unfortunately her plan was foiled by Michael who let the staff take Friday and Monday off.
