The third season of ‘The Office‘  had 23 episodes in total: 17 of these episodes lasted for thirty-minutes long, four of these were “super-sized” episodes that lasted for 40-minutes and two of these ran for two hours. Primarily, these episodes were shown starting from September 21, 2006 to May 2007.

Season three is about different people living different lives. Jim, who recently moved to Stamford branch, gets promoted as a regional manager. He falls in love with a woman named Karen Filippelli, and develops a rivalry with Andy Bernard, who was envious of his position. Jim is happy with his present life, although a part of him misses his co-workers in his former workplace. In Scranton, Pam calls off her wedding and engagement to Roy. Meanwhile, Ryan gets a full-time job as sales representative. Carol and Michael break up. Michael goes back with Jan. Consequently, he takes Oscar out of the picture, which made Jan suggest a three-month paid vacation and a company car, just so that Oscar would not sue. He agrees to take the offer and disappears for the half of the season. Dwight and Angela maintain their secret relationship from the majority of their coworkers.
