Season 4
Season 4, which was purchased by NBC, had 30 episodes in total. Because of the 2007-2008 Writer Guild of America Strike, the production was stopped after having 12 episodes. On April 10, after the strike, the episodes of ‘The Office‘ were shown on television. In total, the season only had 19 episodes.

Having lost Jim to Pam, Karen departed from Scranton branch. She gets a job at Utica branch as regional manager. Meanwhile, Pam and Jim continue to go out happily together. Jan lives in the same place as Michael’s. Because Michael had worsening financial problems, he gets another job in telemarketing. Angela breaks up with Dwight, after seeing him freeze her pet cat to death. Later on, Angela dates Andy. Upon hearing this news, Dwight finds himself in extreme gloom. Trying to escape his sadness, he indulges in playing Second Life, having an avatar of a paper salesman, to make it similar to his life.
